      Abstract

Startoops is a business education platform targeting students and university learners, particularly in preparing for business plan competitions. The challenges faced include low effectiveness in delivering basic material due to repeated explanations by mentors in every bootcamp batch, and participants' demand for more flexible, structured, and interactive learning. This study aims to identify user problems, design a prototype, and develop a business model for the Business Plan Masterclass (BPM) using the design thinking approach. BPM is developed as a video-on-demand-based e-course accessible through a web platform, featuring a pre-quiz, proposal and pitch deck templates, and a community forum. The usability testing results show that BPM effectively addresses participants’ needs for flexible learning, reduces the burden on mentors, and supports a more efficient and sustainable business competition preparation ecosystem.
