      Abstract
MELISA TIO FEBRYANTI HUTAPEA.

MELISA TIO FEBRYANTI HUTAPEA. The Effect of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Implementation of the Effectiveness of the NPK 2 Feeding Machine at PT XYZ. Supervised by ELANG ILIK MARTAWIJAYA. This research was conduted at PT XYZ, a national fertilizer company that plays a key role in supporting food security and improving agricultural productivity in Indonesia. The study aims to determine the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) value of the feeding machine in the production process, identify recurring losses, and analyze the root causes of these losses. Additionally, this research proposes improvements in the from of maintenance checksheet and One Point Lesson to support machine performance enchancement. Data were colleted through direct observation, interviews, and literature riview. The results show that the average OEE value is 63%, which is still below the world-class standard of 85%. Based on the Six Big Losses analysis, two main types of losses significantly affect machine performance: Idle and Minor Stoppage (58%) and Reduced Speed Losses (40%) These Losses substantially reduce the overall effectiveness of the feeding machine.
