| dc.description.abstract | Ekosistem padang lamun berperan penting baik secara ekologis bagi biota laut. Tingginya aktivitas antropogenik seperti wisata pantai, pembuatan kapal, dan jalur perkapalan dapat memengaruhi eksistensi ekosistem lamun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis iktiodiversitas pada ekosistem padang lamun sebagai dasar konservasi sumberdaya ikan di Pulau Pari, Kepulauan Seribu, Jakarta. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Mei-Oktober 2024 dengan empat stasiun pengamatan. Pengumpulan data berupa sampel ikan, parameter fisik-kimiawi perairan, dan kerapatan dan tutupan lamun, Analisis data meliputi komposisi ikan, kelimpahan ikan, struktur komunitas ikan dan keterkaitan ikan dengan habitatnya secara spasial maupun temporal, serta Canonical Correspondence Analysis-CCA . Ikan yang didapatkan selama penelitian sebanyak 5.710 individu, dari 47 spesies, 23 famili, dan 15 ordo. Komposisi ikan yang tertangkap sebanyak 87% berada pada stadia yuwana dan 13% ikan dewasa. Kelimpahan ikan dipengaruhi oleh parameter lingkungan seperti kekeruhan, suhu, salinitas, kedalaman, DO, pH, dan kerapatan lamun. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa ekosistem padang lamun di Pulau Pari berperan sebagai daerah asuhan bagi beragam spesies ikan. Konservasi sumberdaya ikan dapat dilakukan melalui perlindungan dan pemulihan ekosistem lamun, sehingga habitat penting bagi anak-anak ikan tetap terjaga. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Seagrass ecosystems play a vital ecological role in supporting marine biodiversity. However, increasing anthropogenic activities—such as coastal tourism, shipbuilding, and shipping—threaten the persistence of these habitats. This study examines ichthyodiversity within the seagrass ecosystem to provide a foundation for fish resource conservation in Pari Island, Kepulauan Seribu, Jakarta. Conducted from May to October 2024 across four observation stations, the research collected data on fish assemblages, physicochemical water parameters, and seagrass density and coverage. Fish composition, abundance, community structure, and spatial-temporal relationships between fish and habitat were analyzed using Canonical Correspondence Analysis (CCA). A total of 5,710 individual fish were recorded, representing 47 species, 23 families, and 15 orders. Notably, 87% of the specimens were juveniles, while only 13% were adults. Fish abundance was influenced by environmental factors, including turbidity, temperature, salinity, depth, dissolved oxygen, pH, and seagrass density. These findings highlight the role of Pari Island’s seagrass ecosystem as a critical nursery ground for diverse fish species. To conserve fish resources, protecting and restoring seagrass habitats is essential, ensuring the preservation of vital juvenile fish habitats. | |
