      Analisis Sistem Antrean dan Rekomendasi Jumlah Gardu Keluar untuk Meningkatkan Kelancaran Lalu Lintas di Gerbang Keluar IPB

      Abstract
      Kemacetan yang terjadi di gerbang keluar Kampus IPB Dramaga, terutama pada jam sibuk, berdampak pada terganggunya mobilitas mahasiswa, staf, dan pengunjung. Salah satu penyebab utamanya adalah jumlah gardu keluar yang belum optimal, khususnya di gerbang belakang kampus. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis sistem antrean kendaraan dan memberi rekomendasi untuk jumlah gardu keluar dengan pendekatan sistem antrean menggunakan perangkat lunak WINQSB. Data primer dikumpulkan melalui observasi terhadap waktu kedatangan dan waktu pelayanan kendaraan di setiap gerbang. Model antrean yang digunakan adalah M/M/5 untuk gerbang depan dan M/M/2 untuk gerbang belakang, yang merepresentasikan struktur multichannel-single phase. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sistem di gerbang depan telah berada dalam kondisi steady state, sedangkan gerbang belakang belum stabil. Simulasi menunjukkan bahwa penambahan satu gardu di gerbang belakang dapat meningkatkan kelancaran, dan penambahan dua gardu memberikan hasil yang lebih optimal dalam mengurangi waktu tunggu dan mengantisipasi lonjakan kendaraan. Temuan ini diharapkan menjadi dasar dalam perencanaan infrastruktur dan kebijakan operasional yang lebih efisien dan berkelanjutan di lingkungan kampus.
       
      Traffic congestion at the exit gates of IPB Dramaga Campus, especially during peak hours, disrupts the mobility of students, staff, and visitors. One of the main contributing factors is the suboptimal number of exit booths, particularly at the back gate. This study aims to analyze the vehicle queuing system and to give a recommendation for the number of exit booths using a queuing system approach with the support of WINQSB software. Primary data were collected through direct observation of vehicle arrival and service times at each gate. The queuing models applied are M/M/5 for the front gate and M/M/2 for the back gate, representing a multichannel-single phase structure. The analysis shows that the front gate system has reached a steady state, while the back gate remains unstable. Simulation results suggest that adding one booth at the back gate improves system flow, while adding two booths yields a more optimal outcome by reducing waiting time and anticipating vehicle surges. These findings are expected to serve as a basis for more efficient and sustainable infrastructure planning and operational policies on campus.
