      Stabilitas Marshall Aspal Modifikasi Limbah Plastik Pertanian dengan Metode Modifikasi Low Shear Mixing

      Abstract
      Pertumbuhan volume lalu lintas berdampak pada meningkatnya kerusakan jalan yang mendorong kebutuhan inovasi dalam material perkerasan jalan. Berbagai produk industri telah menyebabkan peningkatan limbah plastik yang sulit terurai, termasuk industri pertanian yang berkontribusi secara masif pada pengemasan, mulsa, dan sistem irigasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pengaruh penambahan limbah plastik pertanian (AWP) berbasis polietilen (selang irigasi, mulsa, pot tanaman) terhadap sifat fisis dan mekanis campuran aspal menggunakan metode wet mixing dengan alat low shear mixer. Modifikasi dilakukan dengan mencampurkan AWP ke dalam aspal panas sebanyak 4%, 6%, dan 8% yang diaduk dengan variasi waktu 90, 120, dan 150 menit. Hasil menunjukkan seiring bertambahnya kadar AWP dapat meningkatkan kekakuan yang ditunjukkan dari menurunnya nilai penetrasi hingga pen 10/20 dan nilai titik lembek yang mencapai 74? pada kadar AWP 8%. Nilai stabilitas dan flow juga meningkat pada kadar AWP 8% dengan nilai berturut-turut sebesar 1997,24 kg dan 3,60 mm. Nilai MQ tertinggi berada pada kadar AWP 6% sebesar 627,30 kg/mm. Sifat volumetrik (VMA, VIM, VFA) tidak menunjukkan perbedaan hasil yang signifikan. Tidak ada pola kenaikan atau penurunan yang konsisten pada sifat fisis aspal seiring bertambahnya durasi pengadukan. Semua hasil pengujian masih sesuai dengan spesifikasi yang disyaratkan Bina Marga Revisi 2 Tahun 2018.
       
      The increasing traffic volume contributes to road damage, necessitating innovations in pavement materials. Various industrial products have led to a surge in hard-to-decompose plasic waste, including agricultural plastic waste (AWP) that contributes massively to packaging, mulching, and irrigation systems. This study investigates the effect of incorporating polyethylene-based AWP (irrigation hose, mulch, plant pots) into asphalt using the wet mixing method with a low shear mixer. AWP was added to hot asphalt at 4%, 6%, and 8% with stirring durations of 90, 120, and 150 minutes. Results shoe that higher AWP content enhances stiffnes, indicated by a reduced penetration value (pen 10/20) and a softening point reaching 74? at 8% AWP. Stability and flow also peaked at 8% AWP, with values of 1997,24 kg and 3,60 mm. The maximum Marshall Quotient (MQ) was achieved at 6% AWP (627,30 kg/mm). volumetric properties (VMA, VIM, VFA) remained relatively unchanged. Mixing duration did not produce a consistent trend in physical property changes. All test results met the requirements of Bina Marga Revision 2 of 2018 for Road and Bridge Construction Works.
