      Sistem Pemanenan dan Pengangkutan Sagu (Metroxylon sagu) di Kabupaten Lingga, Kepulauan Riau

      Abstract
      Sistem pemanenan dan pengangkutan sagu di Kabupaten Lingga masih dilakukan secara tradisional dan sederhana yang menyebabkan terjadinya penurunan kualitas sagu yang ditandai dengan tual sagu yang membusuk dan berwarna kehitaman. Penelitian bertujuan mengidentifikasi sistem dan upah kerja pemanenan dan pengangkutan sagu di Kabupaten Lingga. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi partisipatif, dan studi literatur. Sistem pemanenan sagu di Kabupaten Lingga dilakukan secara semi mekanis menggunakan parang dan chainsaw. Pohon sagu biasanya dipanen langsung oleh pemilik agroindustri sagu atau pemilik mengupah orang lain yang bekerja sebagai penebang pohon sagu sebesar Rp 120.000,00-Rp 170.000,00/pohon. Pengangkutan tual sagu di Kabupaten Lingga dilakukan melalui jalur darat menggunakan kaisar dan pickup serta jalur air dengan metode rakit dan pompong, sedangkan pengangkutan sagu kotor dilakukan menggunakan kendaraan kaisar, pickup, dan pompong. Upah pengangkutan tual sagu sebesar Rp 25.000,00-Rp 100.000,00/angkut, sedangkan upah pengangkutan sagu kotor sebesar Rp 35.000,00-Rp 400.000,00/angkut.
       
      The harvesting and transportation system of sago in Lingga Regency is still carried out traditionally and simply leading to a decline in sago quality, characterized by rotting sago trunks that turn black. The research aims to identify the system and labor wages for the harvesting and transportation of sago in Lingga Regency. The research methods used were interviews, participatory observation, and literature study. The sago harvesting system in Lingga Regency is carried out semi-mechanically using machetes and chainsaws. Sago trees are usually harvested directly by the owners of the sago agroindustry or the owners hire others who work as sago tree cutters for Rp 120.000,00-Rp 170.000,00/tree. The transportation of sago logs in Lingga Regency is carried out via land routes using kaisar and pickup trucks as well as water routes using rafts and pompongs, while the transportation of dirty sago is done using kaisar vehicles, pickup trucks, and pompongs. The transportation fee for sago tual is between Rp 25.000,00-Rp 100.000,00/trip, while the transportation fee for raw sago is between Rp 35.000,00-Rp 400.000,00/trip.
