      Abstract

Transportation is an essential need for urban communities but significantly contributes to CO2 emissions. Many governments in developed countries are promoting the use of electric vehicles to reduce air pollution, CO2 emissions, and greenhouse gases (GHG). The 2 Echelon Electric Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Window and Battery Swapping Station is used to model the combination of two types of fleets: electric and conventional vehicles. This study aims to find the best solution for a mixed fleet using an exact method called Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP). The model is tested on five routing cases with different numbers of electric and conventional vehicles, battery capacities, load capacities, and time window rules. The problem is solved using Lingo 20.0 software, which provides the best results for each case based on demand and agreed time windows.
