Sukabungah Agrotourism is an agricultural educational tourism initiative managed by the local community (Gapoktan) in Tambakbaya Village, Cibadak District, Lebak Regency named Gapoktan Sukabungah. Its management has not been fully optimized, raising concerns about its sustainability as seen in other destinations. This study examines the development of Sukabungah Agrotourism through a social capital perspective. Furthermore, it aims to analyze the social capital of the Tambakbaya Village community by exploring three key aspects: Analyzing the social capital elements of Tambakbaya Village, examining the relationships between these elements, and assessing how social capital influences the development of Sukabungah Agrotourism. The method for selecting respondents was purposive sampling based on specific criteria. A total of 235 respondents participated in the study, comprising 65 individuals directly involved, 140 individuals indirectly involved, and 30 individuals not involved. Data on social capital was collected through interviews guided by a questionnaire containing 27 indicators. The measurement of social capital elements utilized a range value formula to determine the categories. The correlation of social capital elements and social capital was analyzed using the Spearman Rank Correlation test, while the analysis of the factors forming the social capital was conducted through Confirmatory Factor Analysis. Additionally, the analysis of social capital within the Tambakbaya Village Community employed the range value formula. The results indicate that the directly involved community has the highest social capital elements, with 43.08% trust, 32.31% social norms, 29.23% proactive actions, and 27.7% social networks. On the other hand, the non-involved community has the lowest, with trust at 16.13%, proactive actions at 53.33%, and social networks at 70%. Notably, the indirectly involved community has the lowest adherence to social norms, at just 25.71%. The components of social capital exhibited a positive and significant correlation with the overall social capital of the community in Tambakbaya Village. The factors forming the community's social capital in the development of Agrowisata Sukabungah are influenced by the type of involvement. The community's social capital is categorized at a moderate level. The condition indicates that the development of agrotourism is feasible; it may not be as straightforward as it would be with a higher level of social capital.
