dc.description.abstractPadat tebar udang yang tinggi dapat menyebabkan stres, penurunan respons imun, dan meningkatkan kerentanannya terhadap penyakit. Peningkatan produksi dapat dicapai dengan penerapan budidaya intensif melalui padat tebar optimal menggunakan sistem bioflok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis status kesehatan udang vaname (L. vannamei) yang dipelihara dengan kepadatan berbeda pada sistem bioflok. Udang yang digunakan memiliki ukuran bobot 0,72±0,03 g dengan penggunaan molase sebagai sumber karbon dan nitrogen dengan rasio C/N 10. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas empat perlakuan dengan masing-masing tiga kali ulangan. Perbedaan kepadatan yang diterapkan adalah 125, 250, 500, dan 1.000 ekor m-3, dengan kode perlakuan B-125, B-250, B-500, dan B-1.000. Parameter yang diamati adalah respons imun meliputi total haemocyte count (THC), aktivitas fagositik (AF), respiratory burst (RB), dan aktivitas phenoloxidase (PO), kelimpahan bakteri total, Vibrio sp., dan Vibrio parahaemolyticus di air pemeliharaan, hepatopankreas, dan usus udang. Selain itu diamati pula parameter kualitas air meliputi dissolved oxygen (DO), suhu, pH, salinitas, total ammonia nitrogen (TAN), nitrit (NO2-), nitrat (NO3-), total suspended solids (TSS) dan alkalinitas, serta tingkat kelangsungan hidup (TKH). Perlakuan dengan kepadatan udang 125 ekor m-3 menunjukkan status kesehatan terbaik berdasarkan tingkat kelangsungan hidup (92,80±3,67%), respons imun, dan kualitas air.
dc.description.abstractHigh stocking densities of shrimp can lead to stress, decreased immune response, and increased susceptibility to diseases. Increased production can be achieved by implementing intensive culture through optimal stocking densities using a biofloc system. This study aims to analyze the health status of vannamei shrimp (L. vannamei) cultured at different densities in a biofloc system. The shrimp used had an initial weight of 0,72±0,03 g, with molasses used as the carbon and nitrogen source at a C/N ratio of 10. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of four treatments with three replications each. The different densities applied were 125, 250, 500, and 1.000 shrimp m-3, with treatment codes B-125, B-250, B-500, and B-1.000. The parameters observed were immune responses including total hemocyte count (THC), phagocytic activity (AF), respiratory burst (RB), and phenoloxidase activity (PO), the abundance of total bacteria, Vibrio sp., and Vibrio parahaemolyticus in the culture water, hepatopancreas, and shrimp intestines. In addition, water quality parameters were also observed, including dissolved oxygen (DO), temperature, pH, salinity, total ammonia nitrogen (TAN), nitrite (NO2-), nitrate (NO3-), total suspended solids (TSS), and alkalinity, as well as survival rate (SR). The treatment with a shrimp density of 125 shrimp m-3 showed the best health status based on survival rate (92.80±3.67%), immune responses, and water quality.
