Analisis Perilaku Petani Budidaya Padi pada Proyek Pertanian Cerdas Iklim di Kabupaten Karawang
Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena krisis iklim yang mempengaruhi produktivitas pertanian padi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan perilaku Pertanian Cerdas Iklim-Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) pada petani padi di Kabupaten Karawang melalui kerangka teoritis Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif serta dilengkapi data kualitatif dari studi lapang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap terhadap perilaku, persepsi atas kontrol perilaku berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap niat. Selain itu, faktor latar belakang informasional, meliputi pengalaman, pengetahuan, dan terpaan media, terbukti memengaruhi sikap dan persepsi kontrol perilaku secara signifikan. Niat perilaku muncul sebagai prediktor dalam perilaku penerapan CSA dengan kekuatan hubungan yang signifikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pentingnya peningkatan sikap positif dan penguatan persepsi kontrol perilaku petani, seperti pelatihan yang menyoroti manfaat nyata CSA. This research was motivated by the phenomenon of the climate crisis affecting rice farming productivity. The study aims to analyze the adoption behavior of Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) practices among rice farmers in Karawang Regency using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) as a theoretical framework. The research employed a quantitative method, complemented by qualitative data from field studies. The findings reveal that attitudes toward behavior and perceived behavioral control have a positive and significant influence on intention. Additionally, informational background factors, including experience, knowledge, and media exposure, significantly influence attitudes and perceived behavioral control. Behavioral intention emerges as a significant predictor of CSA adoption behavior. The results highlight the importance of enhancing positive attitudes and strengthening perceived behavioral control among farmers, such as through training programs that emphasize the tangible benefits of CSA.
