      Abstract

Indonesia experiences saving-investment gap. This gap can be overcome by FDI or foreign loans. Indonesia continues to try to attract FDI through various steps, including trade agreements. This study aims to analyze the differences in Indonesian FDI from partner countries after various trade agreements and analyze the factors that influence Indonesian FDI from 11 partner countries. The methods used in this study are the difference test with the Wilcoxon Test and panel data regression. The results of the difference test show that there are differences in Indonesian FDI from partner countries before and after the implementation of AIFTA, AANZFTA, AJCEP, AKFTA, ACFTA, AHKFTA, dan IJEPA. The results of the panel data regression show that real GDP and imports have a significant positive effect, economic distance has a significant negative effect on Indonesian FDI inflows from partner countries. Meanwhile, real interest rates have no significant effect. The Covid-19 dummy analysis shows a real difference in Indonesian FDI from partner countries before and during Covid-19.
