      Kandungan Fikosianin dan Aktivitas Antioksidan Spirulina platensis yang Dikeringkan Menggunakan Alat Indirect Solar Dryer

      Abstract
      Spirulina merupakan cyanobacteria yang memiliki kandungan pigmen alami berupa fikosianin dan aktivitas antioksidan. Pengeringan menggunakan Indirect Solar Dryer (ISD) dapat memengaruhi kandungan nutrisi spirulina. Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan pengaruh pengeringan S. platensis menggunakan alat pengering sinar matahari tidak langsung atau Indirect Solar Dryer terhadap kualitas biomassa kering, kandungan fikosianin serta aktivitas antioksidannya. Perlakuan yang digunakan meliputi tanpa penyimpan panas (DE), penyimpan panas batu (DPS), penyimpan panas pasir (DBS). Biomassa dianalisis kadar air, fikosianin dan aktivitas antioksidan. Analisis data menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap satu faktor yaitu penyimpan panas. Rata-rata suhu pengeringan DE selama proses pengeringan sebesar 38,84oC. Pengeringan menggunakan ISD dengan perlakuan DE memperoleh kualitas fikosianin yang tinggi yaitu nilai C-PC 4,31±0,06 mg/mL, rendemen fikosianin 103,51±1,60 mg/g, kemurnian fikosianin 1,01±0,12%, dan IC50 20,82±1,53 ppm.
       
      Spirulina is a cyanobacteria that has a natural pigment content in the form of phycocyanin and antioxidant activity. Drying using an Indirect Solar Dryer (ISD) can affect the nutritional content of spirulina. This study aims to determine the effect of drying S. platensis using an indirect sunlight dryer or Indirect Solar Dryer on the quality of dry biomass, phycocyanin content and antioxidant activity. The treatments used include without heat storage (DE), stone heat storage (DPS), sand heat storage (DBS). Biomass explains the air content, phycocyanin and antioxidant activity. Data analysis used a Completely Randomized Design with one factor, namely heat storage. The average drying temperature of DE during the drying process was 38.84oC. Drying using ISD with DE treatment obtained high quality phycocyanin, namely C-PC value of 4.31±0.06 mg/mL, phycocyanin yield of 103.51±1.60 mg/g, phycocyanin purity of 1.01±0.12%, and IC50 of 20.82±1.53 ppm.
