      Distribusi dan Struktur Komunitas Fitoplankton di Danau Laut Misool, Raja Ampat, Papua Barat Daya

      Abstract
      Danau laut atau dalam bahasa Yunani disebut anchialine yakni genangan tanpa koneksi permukaan dengan laut dan terdiri dari air asin atau payau yang berfluktuasi karena pasut. Beberapa penelitian fauna danau laut menunjukkan endemisme tinggi atau kelimpahan spesies yang jarang ditemukan di tempat lain. Fitoplankton merupakan salah satu organisme autotrof yang dapat ditemukan di beragam ekosistem perairan salah satunya danau laut. Fitoplankton berperan penting sebagai organisme pionir serta memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap dinamika ekosistem. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis distribusi dan struktur komunitas dan mengidentifikasi spesies fitoplankton di Danau Laut Misool, Raja Ampat, Papua Barat Daya. Spesies yang paling banyak ditemukan adalah Coscinodiscus sp., Ceratium sp., dan Fragilaria sp. Kelimpahan fitoplankton tergolong tinggi, indeks keanekaragaman tergolong sedang, indeks keseragaman tergolong tinggi, dan indeks dominansi tidak ada yang mendominasi. Stasiun yang memiliki kemiripan paling dekat, yaitu M23 dan M26.
       
      Marine lakes, or anchialine lakes in Greek, are water bodies without surface connections to the sea and consist of saltwater or brackish water that fluctuates due to tides. Several studies on the fauna of marine lakes show high endemism or an abundance of species rarely found elsewhere. Phytoplankton is one of the autotrophic organisms that can be found in various aquatic ecosystems, including marine lakes. Phytoplankton plays a crucial role as pioneer organisms and makes a significant contribution to ecosystem dynamics. This research aims to analyze the distribution and community structure and identify phytoplankton species in the Misool marine lake, Raja Ampat, Southwest Papua. The most frequently found genera are Coscinodiscus sp., Ceratium sp., and Fragilaria sp. Phytoplankton abundance is high, the diversity index is moderate, the evenness index is high, and no species dominate the dominance index. The stations with the closest similarity are M23 and M26.
