Laboratory-scale translation to the pilot or industrial scale in bioindustry requires a precise based on of calculations. The objective of this research is to study the scaling up of-amylase enzyme production from Aspergillus niger, with high activity using tapioca media as a carbon source. Scaling up from laboratory to pilot plant scale was done using two methods, constant agitation power per unit volume {Pg/V) and constant oxygen transfer coefficient (kLa). The results showed that the enzyme activity produced of kLa based product with the value of 205.52 units was higher than enzyme activity of Pg/V based product with the value of 152,11 units. Decreasing starch as a substrate in method kLa based (56,37%) was higher than method Pg/V based (1,79%). Constant kLa method was suggested as a based on the scaleing up of -amylase enzymes on industrial scale.id
