Kajian Kelayakan S3FMU Berbasis Agrosilvopastural di Hutan Pendidikan Gunung Walat, Sukabumi

Abstract

Usaha Smart Small Scale Forest Management Unit (S3FMU) berbasis agrosilvopastural merupakan kombinasi komponen atau kegiatan pertanian, kehutanan, peternakan dan eduwisata dalam satu ekosistem menggunakan teknologi smart. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena adanya lahan yang tidak produktif, pengelolaan hutan yang masih konvensional, dan keadaan sosial masyarakat sekitar hutan yang kurang sejahtera di Kawasan Hutan Pendidikan Gunung Walat. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengidentifikasi potensi pengembangan S3FMU berbasis agrosilvopastural, menganalisis kelayakan finansial, sosial dan ekologi, serta mengidentifikasi penerapan S3FMU berbasis agrosilvopastural di Hutan Pendidikan Gunung Walat. Penerapan S3FMU berbasis agrosilvopastural ini mencakup agroforestri, peternakan sapi potong, dan wisata edukasi. Secara keseluruhan, S3FMU layak untuk dijalankan dan memperoleh keuntungan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai NPV terbesar pada wisata edukasi sebesar Rp 9.773.761.490, dengan nilai BCR dan IRR mencapai 3,040 dan 16%, serta payback period 5 tahun 9 bulan selama jangka waktu 20 tahun dengan suku bunga 6%.

Smart Small Scale Forest Management Unit (S3FMU) business based on agrosilvopastural is a combination of components or activities of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and educational tourism in one ecosystem using smart technology. This research was motivated by the existence of unproductive land, conventional forest management, and the social conditions of the community around the forest that are less prosperous in the Gunung Walat University Forest Area. The purpose of this research was to identify the potential development of S3FMU based on agrosilvopastural, analyse financial, social and ecological feasibility, and identify the application of S3FMU based on agrosilvopastural in Gunung Walat University Forest. The application of S3FMU based on agrosilvopastural includes agroforestry, beef cattle farming, and educational tourism. Overall, S3FMU is feasible to run and make a profit. This is evidenced by the largest NPV value in educational tourism of Rp 9.773.761.490, with BCR and IRR values reaching 3,040 and 16%, and a payback period of 5 years 9 months over a period of 20 years with an discount rate of 6%.
