Kontribusi Tanaman Energi Hutan Rakyat Terhadap Pendapatan Rumah Tangga Petani KTH Mukti Berkah Di Desa Mekarsari, Serang, Banten
Abstract
Pengelolaan tanaman energi dengan memanfaatkan hutan rakyat dapat
menjadi solusi dalam mengatasi isu perubahan iklim dan dapat memberikan sumber
pendapatan perekonomian petani. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis
pengelolaan tanaman energi di hutan rakyat dan mengetahui besar kontribusi
terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga petani yang dihasilkan dari tanaman energi
dengan memanfaatkan hutan rakyat. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan
teknik purpossive sampling dengan jumlah responden 60 petani KTH Mukti Berkah
di Desa Mekarsari, Kecamatan Cinangka, Kabupaten Serang, Provinsi Banten.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan pengelolaan tanaman energi di hutan rakyat yang
dilakukan petani KTH Mukti Berkah meliputi penyiapan lahan, penanaman,
pemeliharaan, dan pemanenan. Tanaman energi yang berada pada lahan hutan
rakyat adalah jenis tanaman gamal dan limbah kayu. Kontribusi tanaman energi
yang ada di hutan rakyat sebesar 1,15% terhadap rata-rata pendapatan bersih petani
dan proyeksi penanaman tanaman energi di hutan rakyat serta produk turunannya
(daun dan pupuk kompos) dari tanaman gamal memiliki kontribusi sebesar 21,02%
terhadap rata-rata pendapatan bersih petani KTH Mukti Berkah. Pengelolaan
tanaman energi dengan memanfaatkan hutan rakyat memberikan kontribusi
terhadap sumber pendapatan petani KTH Mukti Berkah di Desa Mekarsari. Energy crop management by utilizing community forests can be a solution in
overcoming the issue of climate change and can provide a source of economic
income for farmers. This study aims to analyze the management of energy crops in
community forests and determine the contribution to farmers' household income
generated from energy crops by utilizing community forests. The sampling method
used a purpossive sampling technique with a total of 60 respondents from KTH
Mukti Berkah farmers in Mekarsari Village, Cinangka District, Serang Regency,
Banten Province. The results of the study show that the management of energy
crops in community forests carried out by KTH Mukti Berkah farmers includes land
preparation, planting, maintenance, and harvesting. Energy plants located on
community forest land are types of gamal plants and wood waste. The contribution
of energy crops in community forests is 1.15% to the average net income of farmers
and the projection of planting energy crops in community forests and their
derivative products (leaves and compost) from gamal plants has a contribution of
21.02% to the average net income of farmers of KTH Mukti Berkah. The
management of energy crops by utilizing community forests contributes to the
source of income for KTH Mukti Berkah farmers in Mekarsari Village.
