for State and Business Relations: Integrated Literature Review. Supervised by
JOYO WINOTO and ZENAL ASIKIN.
Understanding the theoretical basis of legal theories is essential to analyze
the complexity of the relationship between state and business. This research aims
to identify and integrate relevant legal theories in state and business relations by
using the Integrated Literature Review (ILR) method. The results of this research
found that there are 37 basic theories that are considered relevant, but only 19
theories have a direct connection with the topic of this research, namely Positive
Political Theory, Political Economy, Justice as Fairness, Economic Regulation
Theory, Economic Development, Agency Theory, Stakeholder Theory, Modern
Slavery, Modern Theory of State, Law and Economics, Institutional Theory, Crisis
Response Theory, Dynamic Theory of Change, State Governance Theory, New
Chicago School Approach, New Institutional Economics (NIE), Inequality
Theory, Varieties of Capitalism, and Political Demography. These findings
provide an important contribution in understanding the conceptual basis of state
and business relations from a more comprehensive legal theories perspective.
