      Abstract

As a nation with the world's largest Muslim population, Indonesia has immense potential to dominate the global halal market. However, Indonesia has yet to meet the supply of halal food fully. Optimization of halal food production is necessary; various issues still exist in the traceability system of the halal food supply chain. A system that can guarantee the integrity of halal products is needed. Integration with Blockchain technology is expected to provide transparency and traceability in the halal supply chain. This research aims to analyze the impact of Blockchain-based halal food supply chain on the growth of the halal industry in Indonesia, as well as to identify the challenges and solutions. Using a systematic literature review approach, findings show that Blockchain technology enhances supply chain integrity, stakeholder trust, and company performance, though challenges like high costs, stakeholder unreadiness, and technological complexity remain. Government support is essential to address these challenges.
