dc.description.abstractKapal perikanan di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Bitung dinilai masih belum memenuhi persyaratan kelengkapan peralatan keselamatan. Padahal, tidak lengkapnya peralatan keselamatan merupakan salah satu aspek yang dapat menyebabkan kecelakaan fatal terhadap awak kapal, khususnya awak kapal perikanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kondisi dan keberadaan peralatan dan perlengkapan keselamatan, membandingkan kondisi sebenarnya keberadaan peralatan dan perlengkapan keselamatan sesuai dengan aturan standar kapal non konvensi Indonesia pada kapal kelas 3B, serta memberikan rekomendasi agar peraturan Permenhub/KM.65/2009 dapat diimplementasikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi pustaka dan observasi secara langsung pada 20 kapal perikanan kelas 3B yang berada di PPS Bitung dengan tonase di atas 30 GT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat pemenuhan ketentuan peralatan keselamatan standar kapal non konvensi masih rendah. Hanya tujuh dari 15 ketentuan dengan persentase total sebanyak 14,94%.
dc.description.abstractFishing vessels at the Bitung Fishing Port are considered to have still not met the requirements for completeness of life saving equipment. In fact, the incomplete life saving equipment is one of the aspects that can cause fatal accidents to ship crews, specifically fishing boat crews. This study aims to identify the condition and existence of safety equipment and supplies, compare the actual condition of the existence of safety equipment and supplies in accordance with the standard rules of Indonesian non-convention vessels on class 3B vessels, and provide recommendations so that the regulations of Permenhub/KM.65/2009 can be implemented. The method used in this research is literature study and direct observation on 20 of 3B class fishing ship in Bitung Fishing Port with tonnage above 30 GT. The results showed that the level of compliance with the requirements of the safety equipment of non-convention vessels standard is still low. Only seven out of 15 provisions with a total percentage of 14.94%.
