      Analisis Strategi Nafkah Rumah Tangga Petani Gambir Menghadapi Ketidakpastian Harga Gambir Pasca Pandemi COVID-19 (Kasus: Dusun Lokasi 1, Desa Bandar Baru, Kecamatan Sitellu Tali Urang Jehe, Kabupaten Pakpak Bharat, Sumatera Utara)

      Abstract
      Gambir adalah komoditas yang diminati di pasar global. Permintaan gambir di pasar internasional meningkat setiap tahun. Produksi gambir mencapai 163.400 ton tahun 2021. Harga gambir sering mengalami fluktuasi, menyebabkan pendapatan rumah tangga petani gambir berkurang, sehingga memanfaatkan modal nafkah untuk mencari strategi nafkah lain. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis modal nafkah, strategi nafkah dan pengaruh modal nafkah terhadap strategi nafkah rumah tangga petani gambir Desa Bandar Baru, Kecamatan Sitellu Tali Urang Jehe, Kabupaten Pakpak Bharat, Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif didukung data kualitatif. Analisis data menggunakan uji regresi logistik. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa fluktuasi harga memengaruhi modal manusia, sosial, dan finansial mengalami peningkatan. Modal manusia dan finansial signifikan dalam mendukung strategi ekstensifikasi, intensifikasi, dan pola nafkah ganda, sementara modal sosial berperan dalam strategi migrasi. Ketidakpastian pasar membuat mereka memanfaatkan berbagai jenis modal nafkah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan mereka.
       
      Gambier is a sought-after commodity in the global market. The international demand for gambier increases every year, with production reaching 163,400 tons in 2021. Price fluctuations often occur, leading to reduced income for gambier farming households, which then use their livelihood assets to seek alternative strategies. The aim of this study is to analyze livelihood assets, livelihood strategies, and the impact of livelihood assets on the livelihood strategies of gambier farming households in Desa Bandar Baru, Kecamatan Sitellu Tali Urang Jehe, Kabupaten Pakpak Bharat, North Sumatra. This research employs a quantitative approach supported by qualitative data, with data analysis using logistic regression tests. The results show that price fluctuations affect human, social, and financial assets, which have increased. Human and financial assets are significant in supporting extensification, intensification, and diversified livelihood strategies, while social assets play a role in migration strategies. Gambier price uncertainty drives them to utilize various types of livelihood assets to meet their needs.
