The study aimed to evaluate the effects of silage and concentrate balance with the addition of different fermentation starters. It involved 20 female Garut sheep, comprising 5 treatments and 4 replications. The experimental design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments: P0 = 70% corn stover silage + 30% concentrate; P1 = 70% corn stover silage + EM4 + 30% concentrate; P2 = 60% corn stover silage + EM4 + 40% concentrate; P3 = 70% corn stover silage + Ananta starter + 30% concentrate; P4 = 60% corn stover silage + Ananta starter + 40% concentrate. Observed variables included weight gain, feed intake, feed conversion, feed efficiency, and income over feed cost (IOFC). The study results showed that the addition of silage fermentation starters and variations in forage and concentrate ratios had no significant effect (P>0.05) on total nutrient intake, feed efficiency, or feed conversion. However, it significantly increased (P<0.05) concentrate dry matter intake and average daily weight gain (ADG). The addition of the Ananta Farm starter to corn stover silage with forage ratios of 70% and 60% successfully increased body weight and yielded the highest profit.
