Pengaruh Gejala Stres dan Strategi Koping terhadap Kualitas Perkawinan Keluarga Narapidana Perempuan
Abstract
Kualitas perkawinan pada keluarga narapidana perlu mendapat perhatian lebih karena banyaknya tantangan yang dihadapi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh gejala stres dan strategi koping terhadap kualitas perkawinan narapidana perempuan. Desain penelitian ini adalah cross-sectional menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian terpilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling terdiri dari 36 narapidana perempuan yang sedang dalam masa pemidanaan di Lapas Perempuan Kelas II A Jakarta dengan kriteria memiliki suami dan anak serta berada di lapas minimal enam bulan. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan lama pendidikan istri dan lama di lapas berhubungan negatif signifikan terhadap gejala stres kognitif. Selain itu, lama pendidikan suami berhubungan negatif signifikan terhadap gejala stres afektif. Gejala stres afektif juga berhubungan negatif signifikan dengan kebahagiaan dan kepuasan perkawinan. Strategi koping fokus emosi menunjukkan hubungan positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan perkawinan. Lama pendidikan istri berhubungan positif signifikan dengan kebahagiaan perkawinan, sedangkan usia istri, usia suami, besar keluarga, dan pekerjaan suami berhubungan positif signifikan dengan kepuasan perkawinan. Hasil uji regresi menunjukkan bahwa kualitas perkawinan sangat berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap jumlah anak dan strategi koping serta berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap gejala stres. The quality of marriage in families of prisoners needs more attention because of the many challenges faced. This study aims to analyze the effect of stress symptoms and coping strategies on the quality of marriage of female prisoners. The design of this study was cross-sectional using quantitative methods. The selected research sample using purposive sampling technique consisted of 36 female prisoners who were serving their sentences at the Class II A Women's Prison in Jakarta with the criteria of having a husband and children and being in prison for at least six months. The correlation test showed that the wife's length of education and length of time in prison were significantly negatively related to cognitive stress symptoms. In addition, the husband's length of education was significantly negatively related to affective stress symptoms. Affective stress symptoms were also significantly negatively related to marital happiness and satisfaction. Emotion-focused coping strategies showed a significant positive relationship to marital satisfaction. The wife's length of education was significantly positively related to marital happiness, while the wife's age, husband's age, family size, and husband's occupation were significantly positively related to marital satisfaction. The results of the regression test showed that marital quality had a significant positive effect on the number of children and coping strategies and a significant negative effect on stress symptoms.
