      Identifikasi Spesies Rayap dan Intensitas Kerusakan Bangunan di Kelurahan Aur Gading, Sarolangun, Jambi

      Abstract
      Rayap dikenal sebagai serangga yang mampu mendegradasi selulosa sehingga dapat menyebabkan kerusakan yang signifikan pada komponen kayu bangunan gedung. Kerugian finansial yang ditimbulkan akibat serangan rayap dapat mencapai jumlah yang cukup tinggi. Serangan rayap banyak ditemukan di sekitar bangunan rumah di Kelurahan Aur Gading, Sarolangun, Jambi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis rayap dan menganalisis kerusakan kayu pada bangunan di permukiman Kelurahan Aur Gading, Sarolangun, Jambi. Metode JIS K 1571 digunakan untuk mengumpan rayap disekitar permukiman sehingga diketahui rayap yang ada disekitar bangunan. Jenis kayu yang digunakan sebagai umpan adalah kayu pinus (Pinus merkusii) dengan ukuran 3 cm x 3 cm x 35 cm. Analisis kerusakan komponen bangunan di permukiman dilakukan dengan cara survei langsung dan dilakukan penilaian kerusakan pada komponen bangunan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan sekurang-kurangnya tiga spesies rayap tanah yaitu Schedorhinotermes sp., Microtermes sp., dan Macrotermes sp. Hasil survei kerusakan bangunan menunjukkan kondisi bangunan di lokasi penelitian sebagian besar berada dalam kondisi sedang yaitu sebesar 63,46%. Faktor penyebab kerusakan bangunan tertinggi yaitu faktor biologis dengan persentase sebesar 39%.
       
      Termites are known as insects capable of degrading cellulose, which can cause significant damage to the wooden components of buildings. The financial loss caused by termite infestation can be quite high. Termite infestations were found around many houses in Aur Gading Village, Sarolangun, Jambi. This study aims to identify termite species and analyze wood damage in buildings in the residential area of Aur Gading Village, Sarolangun, Jambi. The JIS K 1571 method is used to bait termites around settlements so that termites around buildings are known. The type of wood used as bait is pine wood (Pinus merkusii) with a size of 3 cm x 3 cm x 35 cm. Damage analysis of building components in settlements was carried out by direct survey and damage assessment was carried out on building components. The results showed that at least three species of subterranean termites were found, namely Schedorhinotermes sp., Microtermes sp., and Macrotermes sp. The results of the building damage survey showed that the condition of buildings in the research location was mostly in moderate condition, amounting to 63,46%. The highest factor causing building damage is biological factors with a percentage of 39%.
