      Abstract
      Pembangunan desa di Indonesia saat ini menjadi fokus utama dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan kemandirian masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Minihidro (PLTMH) terhadap keterbukaan informasi serta partisipasi masyarakat di desa. Metode yang digunakan mencakup wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan perangkat desa dan tokoh masyarakat, serta penyebaran kuesioner kepada kepala keluarga yang dipilih secara acak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan PLTMH berkontribusi pada peningkatan transparansi informasi dan partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sumber daya desa. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa PLTMH dapat menjadi alat yang efektif dalam mendorong keterlibatan komunitas. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menekankan perlunya kebijakan yang mendukung partisipasi masyarakat dalam proyek energi terbarukan, sehingga manfaat sosial dan ekonomi dapat dimaksimalkan di tingkat desa.
       
      Village development in Indonesia has become a key focus to enhance the welfare and self-sufficiency of rural communities. This study aims to evaluate the impact of Minihydro Power Plants (PLTMH) on information transparency and community participation in the village. The methods employed include semi-structured interviews with village officials and community leaders, as well as questionnaires distributed to randomly selected household heads. The findings indicate that PLTMH contributes to increased transparency and active participation of the community in village resource management. These results suggest that PLTMH can be an effective tool in fostering community engagement. The implications highlight the need for policies that support community involvement in renewable energy projects to maximize the social and economic benefits for the village.
