      Integrasi Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) Sensor Pada Platform Polymer

      Abstract
      Sensor merupakan perangkat yang tidak lepas dari kehidupan manusia dimana manusia terus membuat inovasi serta pengembangan sensor demi kelancaran dan kemudahan hidup manusia. Sensor SPR berbasis serat optik pada platform polimer dengan bukaan 1, 2 dan 3 cm berhasil dibuat. Hasil cetak platform memiliki permukaan yang halus dengan tingkat detail yang tinggi dan tanpa cacat yang berarti. Logam dideposisikan menggunakan metode dip coating dengan nanopartikel emas yang disintesis menggunakan metode Turkevich dengan ukuran rata-rata partikel 19,75 nm dan panjang gelombang serapan UV-Vis pada panjang gelombang 330 nm. Sensor diuji dengan analit berupa air dan gliserol dengan variasi konsentrasi 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50% dan 100%. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian menggunakan spektrofotometer, sensor berhasil mencapai kondisi resonansi yang ditandai dengan adanya kurva resonansi pada panjang gelombang ~460 nm yang disebabkan karena ukuran nanopartikel yang terdeposisi sangat kecil (= 2 nm). Variasi bukaan sensor mempengaruhi lebar kurva resonansi. Pengujian variasi analit pada sensor menghasilkan pergeseran kurva resonansi yang mengindikasikan terjadinya perubahan indeks bias pada permukaan sensing yang perubahannya sebanding dengan indeks bias analit. Pengujian pada analit gliserol teramati banyaknya cahaya yang bocor yang dikarenakan indeks bias gliserol mendekati indeks bias serat optik.
       
      Sensors are instruments that cannot be detached from any human life where people continuously make innovations and development of sensors for the sake of smoothness and ease of human life. Optical fiber-based SPR sensors on polymer platforms with sensing zones of 1, 2 and 3 cm were successfully made. The mold result of the platform has a smooth surface with a sharp finish and no significant defects. Metal was deposited using a dip coating method with synthesized gold nanoparticles using Turkevich method that have an average particle size of 19.75 nm and UV-Vis absorption wavelength at 330 nm. The sensor was tested with analytes of water and glycerol with varying concentrations of 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50% and 100%. Based on the test by using a spectrophotometer, the sensor successfully achieved resonance conditions which are indicated by the appearance of a resonance curve at a wavelength of ~460 nm caused by the very small size of the deposited nanoparticles (= 2 nm). Variations in the sensing zone of the sensor affected the width of the resonance curve. Analyte variation testing on the sensor produces a shift in the resonance curve which indicates a difference refractive index of the sensing surface which is in line with the difference refractive index of the analyte. Testing on the glycerol analyte observed a lot of light loss was caused by the refractive index of glycerol being close to the refractive index of the optical fiber.
