Analisis Proyeksi Pembiakan Domba Berbasiskan Peternakan Rakyat di Dusun II Desa Cisarua
Abstract
pengembangan masyarakat melalui peternakan.
Cisarua village in Nanggung sub-district has the potential for community
development through animal husbandry. This study aims to analyse the breeding
projection and productivity of breeder sheep in Dusun II of Cisarua Village. The
research was conducted on 30 respondents of smallholder farmers in Hamlet II in
January-April using purposive sampling method. Data collection was conducted
using observation, interview, and documentation methods. Data were analysed
using descriptive analysis of income (births and purchases) and expenditure (deaths
and sales), as well as sheep projections for the next 6 years. The results showed that
the average percentage of births per cycle based on sires was 44,6% and deaths
were 2,4%, sales were 4,5%, and purchases were 1,4%. Projections of sheep
development were made with three assumptions: constant, improved mating
management (PMP), and ideal conditions which resulted in an increase of 1,7; 3;
and 5 times the initial conditions over the next 6 years.
