dc.description.abstractApartemen kepiting recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) sangat efektif dan efisien untuk mencegah sifat kanibalisme kepiting dan pemanfaatan ruang dan air dalam sistem budidaya. Tujuan proyek ini yaitu membuat desain dan menciptakan produk apartemen budidaya kepiting bakau. Metode yang digunakan yaitu membuat desain, produk, dan menguji coba apartemen kepiting. Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu gambar desain dan produk apartemen kepiting dengan total kapasitas 24 ekor kepiting. Apartemen ini menggunakan lahan yang minimalis karena ukurannya hanya 140 cm × 40 cm × 143 cm dan air mengalir dengan lancar dengan debit yang didapatkan pada inlet mencapai rerata 9±0,6 mL/s. Kinerja produksi kepiting bakau yang didapatkan dari hasil rata-rata laju pertumbuhan spesifik sebesar 11,28±14,73%, nilai rata-rata laju pertumbuhan harian kepiting bakau yang mengalami moulting sebesar 41,91±16,11 g dengan nilai rata-rata petumbuhan bobot mutlak mencapai 26,63±20,61 g dan nilai sintasan sebesar 100%. Total biaya pembuatan apartemen kepiting mencapai Rp12.860.038/tahun, harga pokok produksi mencapai Rp.1.071.670/produk dan menghasilkan keuntungan Rp628.330/produk dengan R/C ratio sebesar 1,59. Apartemen kepiting dapat digunakan secara efektif sebagai wadah penggemukan kepiting hingga soka.
dc.description.abstractRecirculating aquaculture system (RAS) crab apartments are highly effective and efficient in preventing crab cannibalism and space and water utilization in aquaculture systems. The objectives of this project was to create a design and product for mangrove crab aquaculture apartments. The research methods included the design, product development, and testing of the crab apartment. The results include the design and products of a crab apartment with a total capacity of 24 crabs. The apartment utilized minimal space being to its dimensions of 140 cm × 40 cm × 143 cm. Water flowed smoothly with an average inlet flow rate of 9±0.6 mL/s. Mangrove crab production performance was obtained from the results of the average specific growth rate of 11.28 ± 14.73%, the average value of the daily growth rate of mangrove crabs that moulted was 41.91 ± 16.11 g with the average value of absolute weight growth reached 26.63 ± 20.61 g, and the survival value was 100%. The total cost of constructing crab apartments was Rp12,860,038/year with a production cost of Rp.1,071,670/product. This resulted in a profit of Rp628,330/product, with an R/C ratio of 1.59. Crab apartments can be effectively used as a means to enhance crab growth until the soka phase.
