      Abstract
      Peternakan merupakan salah satu potensi usaha yang sangat besar apabila dikembangkan di Indonesia. Indonesia memiliki keunggulan di bidang peternakan secara keragaman plasma nutfah, iklim dan geografis, serta sumberdaya manusia yang bisa dimanfaatkan untuk upaya pengembangan bidang peternakan. Pencatatan ternak di Indonesia masih menggunakan metode yang tradisional dan masih memprihatinkan. Kondisi tersebut menciptakan sebuah pemikiran untuk dibentuk sebuah sistem pencatatan ternak berskala nasional. Penelitian ini berfokus kepada pengembangan frontend dari sistem pencatatan ternak yang tepat guna dengan mempertimbangkan kebutuhan, efisiensi aplikasi terhadap calon pengguna. Metode pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Scrum yang mengutamakan timbal balik dari pengguna untuk pengembangan yang lebih fleksibel. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat membantu pemerintah, peternak, dan semua lembaga peternakan dalam pencatatan secara nasional dan dapat dikembangkan lagi selanjutnya kepada bidang finansial dan penyuluhan ternak di Indonesia.
       
      Animal husbandry is one of the biggest potential businesses if developed in Indonesia. Indonesia has advantages in animal husbandry in terms of germplasm diversity, climate and geography, as well as human resources that can be utilised for animal husbandry development efforts. Livestock recording in Indonesia still uses traditional methods and is still a cause for concern. This condition creates an idea for a national-wide livestock recording system. This research focuses on developing the frontend of an appropriate livestock recording system by considering the needs, application efficiency for potential users. The method in this research uses the Scrum method which prioritises feedback from users for more flexible development. It is hoped that this research can help the government, breeders, and all livestock institutions in recording nationally and can be further developed to the field of livestock finance and extension in Indonesia.
