Optimasi Bahan Pakan Lokal terhadap Performa Produksi Puyuh Petelur (Coturnix coturnix japonica)
Abstract
Ketergantungan terhadap bahan pakan impor yang disertai tingginya harga pakan ternak membuat peternak kesulitan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pakan ternak. Optimasi bahan pakan lokal menjadi salah satu solusi alternatif dalam mengurangi pakan impor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh penggunaan bahan pakan lokal secara optimal terhadap performa produksi puyuh petelur. Penelitian menggunakan 240 ekor puyuh berumur 4 minggu. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 6 ulangan, setiap ulangan terdiri atas 10 ekor puyuh. P0 = ransum kontrol berbasis corn soya, P1 = Ransum berbasis pakan lokal 1, P2 = Ransum berbasis pakan lokal 2. Peubah yang diamati meliputi konsumsi pakan, bobot telur, produksi telur perhari, massa telur, konversi pakan, dan mortalitas. Data dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) dengan IBM SPSS Statistic 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan bahan pakan lokal 1 (P1) berpengaruh nyata (P A reliance on imported feed ingredients accompanied by the high price of animal feed makes it difficult for farmers to meet their animal feed needs. Local feed ingredient optimization is one of the alternative solutions in reducing imported feed. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of optimal use of local feed ingredients on the production performance of laying quail. The study used 240 quails aged 4 weeks. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 6 replicates, each replicate consisting of 10 quails. The observed variables included feed consumption, egg weight, egg production per day, egg mass, feed conversion, and mortality. Data were analyzed using ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) with IBM SPSS Statistic 25. The results showed that the use of local feed ingredients 1 had a significant (P
