dc.description.abstract | Penundaan air minum merupakan tindakan memberhentikan pemberian air
minum dimulai ketika sapi sedang makan hingga batas waktu yang ditentukan.
Respon fisiologis merupakan reaksi setiap sistem kehidupan terhadap berbagai
perubahan yang terjadi pada lingkungannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
mengetahui pengaruh penundaan minum air terhadap respon fisiologis sapi perah.
Parameter yang diamati yaitu suhu rektal, suhu permukaan kulit, suhu tubuh, detak
jantung, dan laju pernapasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan 12 ekor sapi Friesian
Holstein laktasi dan dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok berdasarkan tinggi pundak.
Perlakuan yang diberikan dibagia menjadi 4 taraf, yaitu: P0 (kontrol), P1 (2 jam),
P2 (3 jam), dan P3 (4 jam). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak
Kelompok dan data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA. Penundaan
air minum tidak menunjukan pengaruh pada suhu tubuh hingga 3 jam penundaan.
Pada detak jantung penundaan air minum tidak menunjukan pengaruh hingga 2 jam
penundaan. Penundaan air minum tidak menunjukan pengaruh pada laju
pernapasan hingga 3 jam penundaan. | |
dc.description.abstract | Drinking water delaying is an action of stopping the provision of drinking
water starting when the cow is eating until a predetermined time limit. A
physiological response is a reaction of any living system to various changes that
occur in its environment. This study was done to determine the effect of drinking
water delaying on the physiological response of dairy cows. The parameters
observed were rectal temperature, skin surface temperature, body temperature,
heart rate, and respiration rate. This study used 12 lactating Friesian Holstein cows
and being divided into 3 groups based on withers height. The treatments were
divided into 4 levels, namely: P0 (control), P1 (2 hours), P2 (3 hours), and P3 (4
hours). This study used a Randomized Complete Block Design and the data
obtained were analyzed using ANOVA. Drinking water delaying did not show an
effect on body temperature up to 3 hours of delaying. For heart rate, drinking water
delaying did not show an effect up to 2 hours of restriction. Drinking water delaying
did not show an effect on respiration rate up to 3 hours of delaying. | |
