dc.description.abstractHutan Pendidikan Gunung Walat (HPGW) bekerjasama dengan TOSO Company Ltd. sejak tahun 2009 dalam rangka rehabilitasi untuk meningkatkan serapan karbon dioksida (CO2). Penelitian ini bertujuan menduga biomassa, cadangan karbon, dan serapan karbon dioksida di areal rehabilitasi TOSO. Pengambilan contoh menggunakan metode stratified systematic plot sampling with random start dengan 85 plot pada tahun tanam 2009 hingga 2022. Data yang diambil pada setiap plot contoh berupa diameter dan tinggi pohon, yang kemudian dimasukkan dalam model alometrik biomassa dan konversi karbon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa total serapan karbon dioksida dalam kurun waktu 2009 hingga 2023 adalah sebesar 1008,17 ton dengan kesalahan penarikan contoh sebesar 18,42%. Total serapan di areal rehabilitasi TOSO terus meningkat setiap tahunnya, dengan dugaan pada selang waktu 2016 hingga 2023 terjadi peningkatan nilai total serapan karbon dioksida per tahun sebanyak 129,08 ton atau 123,34%.
dc.description.abstractGunung Walat University Forest (GWUF) has been collaborating with TOSO Company Ltd. since 2009 in the context of rehabilitation to increase carbon dioxide (CO2) sequestration. This research aimed to estimate the biomass, carbon stock, and carbon dioxide sequestration in the TOSO rehabilitation area. Sampling used the stratified systematic plot sampling with random start method with 85 plots in planting years of 2009 to 2022. Data taken from each sample plot was diameter and height of the trees, which then included in the biomass allometric model and carbon conversion. The result showed that the total carbon dioxide sequestration in the period of 2009 to 2023 was 1008,17 tons with a sampling error of 18,42%. The total CO2 sequestration in the TOSO rehabilitation area continues to increase every year, with estimated carbon dioxide sequestration increase between 2016 to 2023 per year in value of 129,08 ton or 123,34%.
