dc.description.abstract | Udang vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei) merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi, namun rendahnya kualitas benur seperti pertumbuhan yang lambat dan ukuran benur tidak seragam menjadi kendala dalam proses budidaya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh Artemia salina yang diperkaya menggunakan hormon tiroksin terhadap pertumbuhan pasca-larva udang vaname. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode eksperimental menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan empat pertakuan dan tiga ulangan. Pengaayaan artemia dilakukan dengan metode perendaman menggunakan hormon tiroksin selama 2 jam. Dosis yang ditambahkan sebanyak 0 µg/L T4 (kontrol), 25 µg/L T4 (P1), 50 µg/L T4 (P2), dan 75 µg/L T4 (P3). Pasca-larva udang vaname dengan rata-rata bobot 2,45±1,2 mg; panjang 0,543±0,048 cm dipelihara dalam media budidaya berupa bak fiber ukuran 1,0x0,8x0,8 m3 dengan kepadatan 5000 ekor/bak. Hasil terbaik terdapat pada perlakuan P2 (50 µg/L T4) yaitu dengan laju pertumbuhan bobot spesifik sebesar 28,198% dan laju pertumbuhan panjang spesifik sebesar 12,041%. | |
dc.description.abstract | White shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) is one of the leading commodities that has high economic value, but the low quality of fry such as slow growth and non-uniform fry size are obstacles in the cultivation process. The purpose of this study was to test the effect of Artemia salina enriched using thyroxine hormone on post-larval growth of white shrimp. This study was conducted by experimental method using Complete Randomized Design (RAL) with four tests and three repeats. Enrichment of artemia is carried out by the method of soaking using thyroxine hormone for 2 hours. The doses added were 0 µg/L T4 (control), 25 µg/L T4 (P1), 50 µg/L T4 (P2), and 75 µg/L T4 (P3). Post-larvae of vaname shrimp with an average weight of 2,45±1,2 mg; The length of 0.543±0.0478 cm is maintained in cultivation media in the form of fiber tubs measuring 1.0x0.8x0.8 m3 with a density of 5000 heads / tub. The best results were found in the P2 treatment (50 µg/L T4), with a specific weight growth rate of 28.198% and a specific length growth rate of 12.041%. | |
