Ambulu Kabupaten Jember Provinsi Jawa Timur. Dibimbing oleh KANIA

PRABANDARI S.P., M.Si.
Kecamatan Ambulu memiliki sumber daya wisata alam yang
pengembangannya belum maksimal sehingga diadakan pengembagan lebih lanjut.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengindentifikasi sumber daya alam unggulan,
karakteristik, persepsi, kesiapan masyarakat; karakteristik, persepsi, kesiapan
pengelola; dan karakteristik, preferensi, motivasi wisatawan; serta merancang luaran
merupa program wisata dan poster wisata untuk dipromosikan. Metode pengambilan
data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan
studi literatur. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitaif menggunakan
skala likert 1-5 dan interval penilaian. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa
Kecamatan Ambulu memiliki 7 potensi sumber daya alam unggulan. Pengelola dan
masyarakat sangat setuju dengan adanya pengembangan ekowisata alam. Masyarakat
dan pengelola juga siap dalam menerapkan aspek standar pelaksanaan wisata. Sebagian
besar wisatawan memiliki tingkat motivasi fisik yang tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil dari
penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah luaran berupa program ekowisata alam yang
berjudul “Extravacation in Ambulu” dan poster promosi program wisata.

Ambulu District has natural tourism resources whose development has not been
optimal, so further development is being carried out. This research aims to identify
superior natural resources, characteristics, perceptions, community readiness;
characteristics, perceptions, readiness of managers; and characteristics, preferences,
motivations of tourists; and designing outputs in the form of tourism programs and
tourist posters to be promoted. The data collection methods used in this research are
observation, interviews, questionnaires and literature study. Data analysis was carried
out qualitatively and quantitatively using scale likert 1-5 and scoring intervals. The
results of this research show that Ambulu District has 7 superior natural resource
potentials. Managers and the community strongly agree with the development of
natural ecotourism. The community and managers are also ready to implement
standard aspects of tourism implementation. Most tourists have a high level of physical
motivation. Based on the results of this research, an output was produced in the form
of a natural ecotourism program entitled "Extravacation in Ambulu” and promotional
posters for tourism programs.
