Inventarisasi Jejak Karbon Berbasis Digital PT Komatsu Marketing and Support Indonesia
Abstract
PT Komatsu Marketing and Support Indonesia adalah salah satu perusahaan
marketing industri manufaktur yang bergerak dalam bisnis distribusi alat berat.
Tingginya aktivitas logistik pada perusahaan berdampak pada emisi yang
dihasilkan oleh transportasi yang digunakan. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut,
penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengidentifikasi aktivitas di perusahaan
yang berpotensi menghasilkan jejak karbon, menganalisis emisi karbon yang
dihasilkan tiap aktivitas, serta mengimplementasikan digitalisasi dalam
menginventarisasi jejak karbon pada perusahaan. Data diperoleh melalui observasi
langsung ke lapangan dan studi literatur. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode
perhitungan Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) serta dilakukan
inventarisasi secara digital menggunakan software Microsoft Power BI. Kegiatan
logistik alat berat menjadi salah satu aktivitas yang penting pada perusahaan
tersebut dan aktivitas ini juga menjadi penghasil emisi terbesar dari seluruh jenis
kegiatan di perusahaan. Aktivitas lain seperti penggunaan listrik, operasional
forklift, kendaraan operasional, kegiatan commuting, serta perjalanan bisnis
karyawan juga menjadi jenis aktivitas yang berpotensi menghasilkan emisi karbon.
Implementasi inventarisasi jejak karbon perusahaan dilakukan dengan pembuatan
dashboard untuk melakukan pemantauan pergerakan angka emisi karbon. PT Komatsu Marketing and Support Indonesia is a manufacturing industry
marketing company engaged in the heavy equipment distribution business. The
high level of logistics activity in companies has an impact on the emissions
produced by the transportation used. Based on these problems, this research was
carried out with the aim of identifying activities in companies that have the potential
to produce a carbon footprint, analyzing the carbon emissions produced by each
activity, and implementing digitalization in inventorying the company's carbon
footprint. Data was obtained through direct observation in the field and literature
study. Data were analyzed using calculation methods Intergovernmental Panel on
Climate Change (IPCC) and carried out a digital inventory using software Microsoft
Power BI. Heavy equipment logistics activities are one of the important activities
in the company and this activity is also the largest emitter of all types of activities
in the company. Other activities such as electricity use, forklift operations, vehicle
operations, activities commuting, as well as employee business trips are also types
of activities that have the potential to produce carbon emissions. Implementation of
the company's carbon footprint inventory is carried out by making dashboard to
monitor the movement of carbon emission figures.
