MOH KEVIN RIKENSA. Evaluasi Gerak Kerja Pemanen Kelapa Sawit Berdasarkan Umur Dengan Metode Time Study di PT. Socfindo Kebun Aek Loba. Dibimbing oleh SUWARTO. Salah satu faktor utama yang mempengaruhi efisiensi ini adalah usia pekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi gerak kerja pemanen kelapa sawit berdasarkan kelompok usia menggunakan metode Time Study di PT. Socfindo Kebun Aek Loba. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung dengan pemanen, yang kemudian dikelompokkan menjadi empat kategori umur: <25 tahun, 25-35 tahun, 36-45 tahun, dan >45 tahun. Setiap kategori umur terdiri dari 5 sampel. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa terdapat variasi dalam waktu kerja antara kategori umur yang berbeda. Rata-rata waktu untuk setiap kegiatan pada kategori umur <25 tahun adalah sebagai berikut: jalan antar pokok 6,05 menit, menurunkan buah 11,45 menit, mengutip brondolan 6,38 menit, dan mengangkut buah ke TPH 6,59 menit. Sedangkan pada kategori umur >45 tahun, rata-rata waktu untuk setiap kegiatan adalah: jalan antar pokok 7,44 menit, menurunkan buah 13,55 menit, mengutip brondolan 7,09 menit, dan mengangkut buah ke TPH 8,02 menit. Faktor-faktor seperti stamina fisik, pengalaman kerja, dan teknik panen mempengaruhi efisiensi kerja pemanen.

One of the main factors affecting this efficiency is the age of the worker. This study aims to evaluate the work motion of oil palm harvesters based on age groups using the Time Study method at PT Socfindo Kebun Aek Loba. Data was collected through direct observation with harvesters, who were then grouped into four age categories: <25 years, 25-35 years, 36-45 years, and >45 years. Each age category consisted of 5 samples. The study found that there were variations in work time between the different age categories. The average time for each activity in the <25 years age category is as follows: walking between trees 6.05 minutes, unloading fruits 11.45 minutes, collecting loose fruits 6.38 minutes, and transporting fruits to TPH 6.59 minutes. Whereas in the age category >45 years, the average time for each activity is: walking between trees 7.44 minutes, unloading fruits 13.55 minutes, collecting loose fruits 7.09 minutes, and transporting fruits to TPH 8.02 minutes. Factors such as physical stamina, work experience, and harvesting techniques affect harvesters' work efficiency.
