      Abstract

Arabica coffee is a commodity that contributes quite a lot of foreign exchange with a high export value. One effort to increase Arabica coffee productivity is by implementing effective and efficient fertilization according to standards. The aim of this final project activity is to determine the altitude and soil pH in Java Coffee Estate, to determine the effect of soil pH on the level of nutrient deficiency in coffee plants at various soil pH in Java Coffee Estate. This final project activity was carried out from 8 August to 30 November at Java Coffee Estate PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII. The design used was a randomized complete group design (RKLT) with one factor, soil pH and altitude. There were 2 treatments, with an altitude of >1,100 masl and pH 4-6 and an altitude of <1,100 masl and pH 6-8 in 2 blocks with 3 replications. Altitude and soil pH levels influence the percentage of nutrient deficiency symptoms. At an altitude of >1,100 masl with a soil pH of 5.5 and 5.1, there is a high percentage of nutrient deficiency symptoms (26% and 28.1%), while at an altitude of <1,100 masl with a soil pH of 6.3 and 6.4 there is a percentage of deficiency symptoms. low nutrients (5.6% and 3.6%).
