Perlakuan RK
= konsentrat kontrol, RL = konsentrat mengandung 6% minyak lemuru, RE- SE = konsentrat mengandung 6% minyak lemuru + Vitamin E 500 IU + Selenium 0,5 ppm. This study aimed to analyze the heat stress response of local rams during growth period feed containing lemuru oil, vitamin E, and selenium. The livestock used were 21 rams with an average body weight of 25±2.58 kg and aged 9-12 months. This study used a randomized block design (RCBD) with 3 treatments and 7 replications. Treatment RK = concentrate control, RL = concentrate containing 6% lemuru oil, RE- SE = concentrate containing 6% lemuru oil + Vitamin E 500 IU + Selenium 0.5 ppm. The parameters measured were nutrient consumption, physiological responses, MDA levels and SOD levels. RL and RE-SE treatments had a very significantly lower effect (P<0.01) than RK on dry matter consumption, crude protein, BETN, heart rate, rectal temperature, MDA levels, but gave higher results. (P<0.01) on crude fat consumption and SOD levels. The conclusion of this research is that the addition of 6% lemuru oil combined with vitamin E and selenium supplementation reduced dry matter consumption, crude protein, BETN, physiological responses and MDA levels, but increased crude fat consumption and SOD levels in local rams
