| dc.description.abstract | Kehadiran whatsapp memberikan jalan baru yang memudahkan akses informasi bagi petani. Selain menyebarkan informasi, petani juga berinteraksi melalui whatsapp sehingga terbentuk jaringan komunikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis jaringan komunikasi yang terbentuk antar petani melalui whatsapp, manfaat jaringan komunikasi pada whatsapp petani, dan hubungan antara frekuensi penggunaan whatsapp dengan manfaat bagi petani. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, kuesioner, dan wawancara mendalam. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah anggota Gapoktan Mandiri Jaya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa struktur jaringan komunikasi petani dengan pihak yang berkaitan dengan pertanian yang terbentuk melalui whatsapp yakni cenderung menyebar dan memusat pada beberapa aktor. Manfaat jaringan komunikasi melalui whatsapp bagi petani yakni mudah mendapatkan informasi, mudah melakukan pemasaran, dan mudah menjalin kerjasama. Selain itu, faktor yang memengaruhi manfaat jaringan komunikasi melalui whatsapp bagi petani dilihat dari aktivitas pemakaian whatsapp. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The presence of WhatsApp provides a new way to facilitate access to information for farmers. In addition to disseminating information, farmers also interact through WhatsApp to form a communication network. This study aims to analyze the communication network formed between farmers through WhatsApp, the benefits of communication networks on farmers' WhatsApp, and the relationship between the frequency of WhatsApp use and the benefits for farmers. The methods used in this study are observation, questionnaires, and in-depth interviews. The respondents in this study are members of Gapoktan Mandiri Jaya. This study's results show that the communication network structure between farmers and parties related to agriculture formed through WhatsApp tends to spread and focus on several actors. The benefits of communication networks through WhatsApp for farmers are easy to get information, easy to do marketing, and easy to collaborate. In addition, factors that affect the benefits of communication networks through WhatsApp for farmers are seen in the activity of using WhatsApp. | |
