      Abstract

Fusion control or controlled thermonuclear is a reaction that combines two light atomic nuclei into a heavier atomic nucleus by releasing energy. Fusion reactors are currently still being developed to realize nuclear power plants based on fusion reactions. Construction costs are one of the factors inhibiting the development of world fusion reactors. This research aims to calculate the temperature that can be reached by ohmically heated plasma in a fusion reactor called Tokamak with varying radius sizes. The size of the major radius used in the calculation ranges from 2 m to 4 m and the minor radius from 1 m to 3 m. This value is set to be smaller than existing Tokamaks in order to reduce construction costs. The size of the major radius plays a role in the number of particle collisions that occur so that it is directly proportional to the temperature reached by the plasma. The size of the minor radius plays a role in the heat conversion process through the reactor walls so that the relationship is inversely proportional to the temperature reached by the plasma.
