      Sistem Kontrol dan Monitoring untuk Reaktor Biogas dengan Bahan Dasar Rumput Laut Berbasis IoT

      Abstract
      Kebutuhan energi semakin tinggi seiring dengan perkembangan zaman. Biogas merupakan sumber energi alternatif untuk mengurangi penggunaan sumber daya alam yang tidak dapat diperbaharui. Indonesia memiliki potensi sumber daya laut yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai biogas salah satunya rumput laut karena karakteristiknya rendah lignin dan memproduksi gas metana. Biogas seiring perkembangan teknologi diproduksi menggunakan reaktor (digester) dengan melakukan dekomposisi secara efisien dan memanfaatkan waktu fermentasi secara efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan memantau kondisi efisien reaktor biogas melalui pemantauan suhu, tekanan, kelembapan, dan pH yang sesuai sehingga digester dalam keadaan seimbang serta dapat memantau jumlah metana secara real-time. Pemanfaatan teknologi yang digunakan untuk mendukung proses pembuatan biogas menggunakan sistem kontrol dengan mikrokontroler ESP32 dan sistem monitor dengan pemasangan sensor-sensor yang dapat memantau kondisi digester dengan berbasis Internet of Things (IoT). Data hasil pemantauan dan sistem kontrol untuk reaktor secara daring diambil menggunakan Blynk. Hasil kinerja dari sistem selama 30 hari menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat memantau secara real-time dan bekerja secara optimal. Sistem ini membantu memudahkan untuk memantau kondisi reaktor biogas agar selalu dalam kondisi yang diinginkan.
       
      The demand for energy needs is increasing along with the developments over time. Biogas is an alternative energy source that helps to reduce the consumption of non-renewable natural resources. Indonesia has a potential marine resources that can be utilized as biogas, one of which is Seaweed because it has low in lignin and produces methane gas. As technology develops, biogas is produced using reactors (digesters) with efficient decomposition and utilizing fermentation time effectively. This research aims to determine efficient conditions and monitor the effectiveness of using a biogas reactor by monitoring a precise temperature, pressure, humidity, and pH so that the digester in a balanced state and can monitor the amount of methane in real-time. Utilization of technology used to support the biogas production process uses a control system with ESP32 as a microcontroller and a monitoring system with the installation of sensors that can monitor the condition of the reactor based on the Internet of Things (IoT). Data from online monitoring and control systems for reactors is taken using Blynk. Data from system performance results for 30 days shows that the system can monitor in real-time and work optimally. This system helps make it easier to monitor the condition of the biogas reactor so that it is always in the required condition.
