Pengembangan UX dan UI Web Admin Learning Management System “Otsuka Ilmu” Berbasis Design Thinking
Abstract
Otsuka Ilmu merupakan web admin Learning Management System (LMS) yang dikelola oleh departemen Human Capital Development PT Amerta Indah Otsuka. Terdapat permasalahan pada Otsuka Ilmu, yaitu belum memiliki User Interface (UI) yang mengacu pada kebutuhan desain pengguna akhir dan belum dilengkapi dengan fitur reservasi, real-time quiz, dan supervisor assignment. Hal ini dapat memengaruhi User Experience (UX), sehingga diperlukan pengembangan UX dan UI yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pengguna akhir. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Design Thinking yang berfokus pada pengguna untuk merancang solusi inovatif. Metode ini memiliki 5 tahapan, yaitu
empathize, define, ideate, prototyping, dan testing. Penelitian ini menghasilkan rancangan pengembangan UX dan UI web admin LMS “Otsuka Ilmu”. Usability testing menggunakan platform Maze.Co menunjukkan mayoritas responden berhasil menyelesaikan tugas dan skenario pengujian, serta hasil System Usability Scale diperoleh skor rata-rata 85,83 yang termasuk kategori "acceptable", "best imaginable", mendapat kategori promoter pada net promoter score dan grade A+. Otsuka Ilmu is a web admin Learning Management System (LMS) managed by the Human Capital Development department of PT Amerta Indah Otsuka. There is a problem with Otsuka Ilmu, that it does not have a User Interface (UI) that refers to the design needs of end users and is not equipped with
reservation, real-time quiz and supervisor assignment features. This can affect the User Experience (UX), so UX and UI development is needed that is tailored to the needs of end users. This research uses the Design Thinking method which focuses on users to design innovative solutions. This method has 5 stages, empathize, define, ideate, prototyping, and testing. This research resulted in a UX and UI
development design for the "Otsuka Ilmu" LMS admin web. Usability testing using Maze.Co platform show that the majority of respondents successfully completed the tasks and scenarios, and the results of the System Usability Scale obtained an average score of 85.83 which was included in the "acceptable", "best
imaginable" category, and received the promoter category in the net promoter score and grade A+.
