      Abstract
      Pengelolaan inventaris laboratorium merupakan aspek kritis dalam menjaga kelancaran operasional dan keberlanjutan kegiatan penelitian di lingkungan laboratorium. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan sistem informasi inventory laboratorium menjadi suatu kebutuhan mendesak untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi manajemen inventaris. Selama ini proses inventaris yang dilakukan di pusat studi surfactant and bioenergy research center (SBRC) masih menggunakan cara konvensional. Alat dan bahan laboratorium didata oleh administrator yang bertugas, kemudian hasil pendataan tersebut dicatat dalam buku. Hal ini mengakibatkan pengelolaan data inventaris tidak akurat dari waktu ke waktu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah sistem informasi inventory laboratorium yang dapat meningkatkan pengelolaan inventaris, pemantauan stok, dan efektivitas manajemen laboratorium. Pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode waterfall dan dibuat berbasis web menggunakan framework Laravel dengan konsep Model View Controller (MVC) yang didukung basis data MySQL. Dengan implementasi sistem informasi inventory ini, laboratorium SBRC dapat meningkatkan efisiensi, transparansi, dan akurasi dalam pengelolaan inventaris laboratorium.
       
      Laboratory inventory management is a critical aspect in maintaining smooth operations and sustainability of research activities in the laboratory environment. Therefore, developing a laboratory inventory information system is an urgent need to increase the efficiency and accuracy of inventory management. So far, the inventory process carried out at the surfactant and bioenergy research center (SBRC) still uses conventional methods. Laboratory equipment and materials are recorded by the admin on duty, then the results of the data collection are recorded in a book. This results in inaccurate inventory data management from time to time. This research aims to develop a laboratory inventory information system that can improve inventory management, stock monitoring and laboratory management effectiveness. System development uses the waterfall method and is made web-based using the Laravel framework with the Model View Controller (MVC) concept supported by the MySQL database. By implementing this inventory information system, the SBRC laboratory can increase efficiency, transparency and accuracy in managing laboratory inventory.
