      Abstract

Ship procurement gillnets to increase the utilization of fisheries resources requires a standard reference for ship size gillnets. If fishing vessels operate inconsistently with their function, it has the potential to cause fishing operations to be ineffective and inefficient. Therefore, a reference is needed to overcome this. Data is taken from various sources to determine ship performance gillnets in Indonesia and processed using Google Collab Python to get a general idea of the ship's performance gillnets. Boat gillnets spread across several regions in Indonesia with a total of 610 ships. With the highest number at WPP 718 there are 354 units and the lowest at WPP 715 there are 5 units. Most of the ships gillnets made in Indramayu and using wood. Uses engine power ranging from 60 PK to 1500 PK. The choice of engine power on a ship does not always depend on the size of the ship but takes into account the economic factors of fishermen. The correlation of each variable, such as the relationship between LoA, width, depth, engine power and hatch capacity, has a positive correlation value, which means that each variable has a straight comparison.
