      Aplikasi Hormon Tiroksin (T4) dan Hormon Pertumbuhan (rGH) untuk Pertumbuhan Larva Ikan Nila Oreochromis niloticus

      Abstract
      Permintaan pasar terhadap ikan nila cukup tinggi hal tersebut perlu dukungan produksi larva dan benih ikan nila yang berkualitas. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah mengaplikasikan hormon tiroksin (T4) dan hormon pertumbuhan (rGH) untuk mempercepat pertumbuhan larva ikan nila. Metode yang dilakukan yaitu Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan empat perlakuan serta empat ulangan. Perlakuan yang digunakan adalah K: kontrol; T4: 0,1 mg/L; rGH: 2,5 mg/L; dan T4+rGH: 0,1 mg/L+10 mg/L. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan terbaik berada pada perlakuan T4+rGH dengan nilai bobot ratarata 0,20±0,02 g, panjang rata-rata 2,40±0,19 cm, dan laju pertumbuhan spesifik 9,81±0,21%/hari. Aplikasi kombinasi hormon tiroksin (T4) dan hormon pertumbuhan (rGH) dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan larva ikan nila.
       
      The market demand for tilapia is quite high and this needs to be supported by the production of quality tilapia larvae and fry. The purpose of this activity is to apply thyroxine hormone (T4) and growth hormone (rGH) to accelerate the growth of tilapia larvae. The method used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments and four replicates. The treatments used were K: control; T4: 0,1 mg/L; rGH: 2,5 mg/L; and T4+rGH: 0,1 mg/L+10 mg/L. The results showed that the best treatment was the T4+rGH treatment with an average body weight of 0,20±0,02 g, an average length of 2,40±0,19 cm, and a specific growth rate of 9,81±0,21%/day. The application of a combination of thyroxine hormone (T4) and growth hormone (rGH) can increase the growth of tilapia larvae.
