      Pendugaan Biomassa dan Simpanan Karbon di Kawasan Hutan dengan Pengelolaan Khusus Sarongge

      Abstract
      Hutan memiliki peran sangat penting dalam hal pemanasan global. Hutan sebagai penyerap alami dapat membantu mengurangi karbondioksida di atmosfer dan membantu memerangi perubahan iklim. Penelitian ini bertujuan menduga biomassa/simpanan karbon tegakan di atas permukaan tanah dan menentukan tingkat ketelitian pendugaan menggunakan metode tanpa dan dengan stratifikasi di KHDPK Sarongge, Kabupaten Cianjur.Metode penarikan contoh dalam pendugaan biomassa dan simpanan karbon di atas permukaan tanah menggunakan simple dan stratified systematic sampling with random start. Plot contoh sebanyak 54 buah berupa lingkaran (seluas 0,04 ha) dipilih secara sistematis berjarak 69 m. Hasil pendugaan dengan stratifikasi memiliki sampling error lebih kecil dibandingkan tanpa stratifikasi, sehingga nilai dugaan biomassa dan simpanan karbon di atas permukaan tanah di KHDPK Sarongge sebesar 1.519 ton/ha dan 727,59 ton/ha.
       
      Forests play a vital role in global warming. Forests, as natural absorbers, can help reduce carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and fight climate change. The study aims to assume biomass and carbon storage stagnation on the surface of the soil and determine the severity of the assumption using methods without and with stratification in Sarongge, Cianjur district. Examples include biomass assumption and carbon storage over the soil surface using simple and stratified systematic sampling with a random start. Plot samples consisting of 54 pieces, forming circles over 0.04 ha, are systematically selected at distances of 69 m. Assumption results with stratification have smaller sampling errors compared to without stratification, so the assumptions of biomass and carbon stockpiling over land surface in KHDPK Sarongge are 1.519 tons/ha and 727,59 tons/ha.
