      Analisis Cacat Produk pada Proses Produksi Air Mineral 600 mL di PT Tirta Investama Klaten

      Abstract
      Produk reject merupakan barang yang ditolak karena tidak sesuai dengan standar yang ditetapkan oleh perusahaan. PT Tirta Investama Klaten merupakan salah satu produsen produk air mineral di Indonesia. Dalam proses produksi, perusahaan harus menghasilkan produk air mineral kemasan 600 ml yang sesuai dengan standar perusahaan. Akan tetapi, masih terdapat beberapa reject pada kemasannya. Dengan demikian, analisis menggunakan six sigma dilakukan untuk mengukur kinerja perusahaan dengan mengidentifikasi jenis cacat kemasan pada proses visual inspection dan faktor yang menyebabkannya. Metode Six Sigma dilakukan dengan siklus Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control (DMAIC). Hasil identifikasi Critical to Quality (CTQ) menunjukkan terdapat 10 jenis reject yaitu volume kurang, cap putus, tanpa cap, botol penyok, warna lain, cacat mulut, botol bocor, cap miring, cap melipat, dan reject packing. Berdasarkan hasil peta kontrol np menunjukkan cacat yang terjadi masih banyak yang berada di luar batas kendali. Cacat yang paling sering terjadi adalah volume kurang. Kemudian dilakukan pembuatan diagram sebab akibat untuk mengetahui akar penyebab permasalahan dari setiap jenis cacat. Nilai DPMO untuk cacat pada proses produksi ini adalah sebesar 4.180. Sedangkan level sigma bernilai 4 yang setara dengan rata-rata industri USA.
       
      Rejected products are items that are declined because they do not meet the standards set by the company. PT Tirta Investama Klaten is one of the producers of mineral water products in Indonesia. In the production process, the company must produce 600 ml bottled mineral water products that conform to company standards. However, there are still some rejections in the packaging. Therefore, an analysis using Six Sigma is conducted to measure the company's performance by identifying the types of packaging defects during the visual inspection process and the factors causing them. The Six Sigma method is carried out using the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control (DMAIC) cycle. The identification results of Critical to Quality (CTQ) show there are 10 types of rejects, namely underfilled volume, broken cap, no cap, dented bottle, different color, defective mouth, leaking bottle, tilted cap, folded cap, and packing reject. Based on the np control chart results, many defects are still outside the control limits. The most frequently occurring defect is underfilled volume. Subsequently, a cause-and-effect diagram is created to determine the root causes of each type of defect. The DPMO value for defects in this production process is 4.180, while the sigma level is 4, which is equivalent to the average industry level in the USA.
