dc.description.abstractCV Mekar Jaya merupakan perusahaan penggilingan padi yang berkeinginan untuk mencapai target pasar Food Station Tjipinang Jaya yang memiliki kapasitas produksi minimum 200 ton beras/minggu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang proses scale up produksi penggilingan padi di CV Mekar Jaya yang efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur. Hasil eksplorasi menunjukkan bahwa permasalahan yang terjadi meliputi kondisi dan kapasitas mesin pengering yang belum memadai serta kurangnya peralatan dan mesin produksi yang digunakan. Konsep solusi dilakukan melalui penentuan kapasitas bahan baku, perhitungan neraca massa, kebutuhan energi dan jumlah bahan bakar pada proses pengeringan, pemilihan peralatan produksi serta analisis kelayakan finansial. Hasil iterasi menunjukkan dengan input bahan baku 65.000 kg GKP/hari dapat menghasilkan sekitar 31.625,88 kg beras/hari dengan kebutuhan energi sebesar 29.660.034,8 kJ dan jumlah bahan bakar sebanyak 1558,02 kg biopelet kayu. Perhitungan menunjukkan HPP beras yang dihasilkan sebesar Rp 12.691/kg. Analisis kelayakan finansial menunjukkan bahwa rancangan peningkatan skala produksi ini dinilai layak untuk dikembangkan karena memiliki nilai NPV Rp 5.148.686.573, nilai IRR 23,92%, nilai B/C 1,11, nilai BEP 103.256 unit, dan payback period selama 3 tahun 4 bulan. Berdasarkan analisis sensitivitas, keuntungan usaha dapat ditingkatkan dengan melakukan penurunan biaya produksi.
dc.description.abstractCV Mekar Jaya is a rice milling company that wants to reach the Tjipinang Jaya Food Station market target which has a minimum production capacity of 200 tons of rice/week. This research aims to design an effective and efficient scale-up process for rice milling production at CV Mekar Jaya. This research uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach through observation, interviews and literature study. The exploration results showed that the problems that occurred included the inadequate condition and capacity of the drying machine as well as a lack of equipment and production machines used. The solution concept is carried out through determining raw material capacity, calculating mass balance, energy requirements and the amount of fuel in the drying process, selecting production equipment and analyzing financial feasibility. The iteration results show that with a raw material input of 65,000 kg GKP/day it can produce around 31,625.88 kg ii rice/day with an energy requirement of 29,660,034.8 kJ and a quantity of wood biopellet fuel of 1558.02 kg. The calculation is that the HPP for the rice produced is IDR 12,691/kg. The financial feasibility analysis shows that the design for increasing the production scale is considered feasible for development because it has an NPV value of IDR 5,148,686,573, an IRR value of 23.92%, a B/C value of 1.11, a BEP value of 103,256 units, and a payback period of 3 years 4 months. Based on sensitivity analysis, business profits can be increased by reducing production costs.
