      Abstract

Aquaponics is a combination of aquaculture and hydroponic farming in one place where fish waste can be utilized as a source of nutrients for vegetables. In an effort to maximize the existing aquaponics development opportunities, it is necessary to apply technology to periodically monitor the water quality conditions of fish ponds that will be flowed into pipes containing vegetables. Making a smart water quality monitoring system can help farmers to control the nutritional needs of vegetables in aquaponic cultivation where the results of monitoring and control can be done through the website. In this study, tilapia and pakcoy were chosen because both have the need for suitable environmental conditions. The measurement time was carried out for 30 days at 07:30 and 17:30. The provision of nutrient solution is carried out using an automatic pump based on the reading of the pH and TDS sensor values. pH, TDS, and temperature in the sistem terkendali treatment are at the optimal limit so that they have better vegetable growth compared to manual control.
