Analisis Tingkat Pemahaman Karyawan Terhadap Implementasi Good Manufacturing Practices dan Perancangan 5S pada PT XYZ

Abstract

Ketidakpatuhan terhadap prosedur keselamatan dan protokol GMP dapat berdampak negatif pada kesehatan dan keselamatan karyawan serta kualitas produk. PT XYZ, yang belum menerapkan program 5S, menghadapi masalah di lantai produksi, seperti risiko kecelakaan kerja dan kontaminasi produk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara pemahaman karyawan terhadap GMP dan kualitas kinerja, serta mengevaluasi penerapaan prinsip 5S di ruang produksi. Metode penelitian ini melibatkan survei, wawancara, dan observasi, dengan analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif, uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, dan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa koefisien determinasi (R2 ) sebesar 0.918, mengindikasikan bahwa sekitar 91.8% dari variasi dalam kinerja dapat dijelaskan oleh pemahaman GMP memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Temuan penelitian ini mendukung perlunya penerapan prinsip 5S untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi di lingkungan kerja. Rekomendasi mencakup program pelatihan yang berfokus pada GMP dan 5S untuk mengurangi risiko kecelakaan kerja dan meningkatkan kualitas produk.

Non-compliance with safety procedures and GMP protocols can negatively impact employee health and safety, as well as product quality. PT XYZ, which has not implemented the 5S program, faces issues on the production floor, such as the risk of workplace accidents and product contamination. This study aims to examine the relationship between employee understanding of GMP and work performance quality, as well as to evaluate the implementation of the 5S principles in the production area. The research methodology involves techniques, validity testing, reliability testing, and simple linier regression analisys. The result show that the coefficient of determination (R2 ) is 0.918, indicating that about 91.8% of the variation in performance can be explained by understanding GMP, which has a significant influence on employee performance. The findings of this study support the need for the implementation of the 5S principles to improve effectiveness and efficiency in the work environment. Recommendations include training program focused on GMP and 5S to reduce the risk of workplace accidents and improve product quality.
