      Abstract
      Kebakaran hutan di lahan gambut merupakan bencana alam yang sangat merusak dengan konsekuensi lingkungan besar. Pentingnya sistem pemantauan kebakaran hutan di lahan gambut meningkat seiring dengan intensitas kebakaran hutan di Indonesia. Sistem ini dirancang untuk mengatasi tantangan kebakaran pada lahan gambut yang mudah terbakar. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kebakaran hutan gambut meliputi kelembapan tanah, ketinggian air, serta kondisi cuaca seperti temperatur, kelembapan udara, dan curah hujan. Sistem ini menggunakan sensor kelembapan tanah (soil moisture) untuk mendeteksi kelembapan tanah, sensor ketinggian air (water level) untuk mengukur tinggi permukaan air dengan sinyal output 4-20 mA, dan Ultrasonic Automatic Weather Sensor (AWS) untuk mengukur parameter cuaca dengan protokol Modbus RS485. Penggunaan sistem secara modular dengan CAN bus mempermudah pergantian modul atau penambahan sensor. Penelitian ini berfokus pada perancangan sistem agar data sensor dapat dibaca dan dikirim ke server.
       
      Forest fires on peatlands are highly destructive natural disasters with major environmental consequences. The importance of a forest fire monitoring system on peatlands is increasing along with the intensity of forest fires in Indonesia. The system is designed to address the challenges of fire on flammable peatlands. Factors affecting peat forest fires include soil moisture, water level, and weather conditions such as temperature, air humidity, and rainfall. The system uses a soil moisture sensor to detect soil moisture, a water level sensor to measure the water level with an output signal of 4-20 mA, and an Ultrasonic Automatic Weather Sensor (AWS) to measure weather parameters with Modbus RS485 protocol. The use of a modular system with CAN bus makes it easy to change modules or add sensors. This research focuses on designing the system so that sensor data can be read and sent to the server.
